“Well, I believe in the power of word. It can change nations to either the better or the worse, and it can do the same to an individual. TEDx is a great platform to convey your ideas and life experiences that are worth spreading with others to benefit from them.
My first TEDx experience was last year. It was TEDx Cairo University, and I loved it. I was exposed to different topics and ideas. I got to experience a different atmosphere of inspiration and motivation to read more and search for answers to the questions I had in mind. This year, I attended TEDx Cairo University’s event as well, and I can only say that it exceeded last year’s event, due to the high level of organization and the powerful talks given. I was also a performer on TEDx stage this year. I got the opportunity to sing a mixture of old, contemporary, English and Arabic songs”
“We know that Music nurtures our soul, and mind; it develops one’s personality, and helps people discover more about themselves and overcome many of their tribulations, whether through playing an instrument or listening to it, and that’s what it does to me.
I have a close relationship with music, and it got closer when I discovered my singing talent back then when I was 9 years old. Singing was always a way for me to express my thoughts, bring out my feelings, and influence others. I can say that singing awakened the artistic and humanitarian side of me, and thanks to singing I broke the barrier of stage fright, and had the courage to publicly speak”
